Dare to Trust!

Are you ready to take God at His Word?
Sometimes it’s scary isn’t it? God never calls us to anything we can do in our own strength; He calls us to what He can do through us! Often our objections are because we are thinking and focused on ourselves rather than on Him! Apostle Paul rightly said “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!”

I love the Amplified version:

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4:13

Back in secondary school as part of our Doctrine classes we had a session on trust. We were paired up and each pair decided who would wear a blindfold and who would be the guide. The guide had to walk the blindfolded person from one end of our classroom block to the other. One had to trust her guide to keep her safe from danger and lead her on the right path. Trusting wasn’t easy and some guides were naughty as well. It all ended in laughter but the lessons were clear; if I don’t trust you, I ain’t going nowhere with you! Where there was trust however the journey across the block was relatively smooth.

Thankfully with God, we can be at ease. We can trust Him even when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

His path may lead through parched deserts and find us caught between Pharaoh’s army and the Red Sea but He will always make a way! When we walk with Him, dead ends become doors into our promised land!

Dare to trust the Lord and let Him guide your path this year and beyond! We can indeed do all things through Him who strengthens and empowers us to fulfill His purpose for our lives!

“Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3:5-6‬ ‭AMP‬‬
