Sometimes we are looking for God in the obvious but often He presents Himself to us in the obscure. No wonder the wise men from the east who followed the star to look for the baby Jesus went to Herod’s palace looking for him. Obviously if a king was to be born the palace was a fitting place for him. But God had in mind something less grand, something that the wise men could have easily missed if not for the guidance of Elohim through the star. God is a God of wonders but it’s interesting that He loves to work through the ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary!
